Here is the weekly review of the top performing Rams alumni, who are currently playing in pro basketball.
Especially interesting is good performance of Patrick Cartier (13 points), Gian Clavell (16 points), and James Moors (22 points).

#1. Patrick Cartier, a 6'9'' power forward who graduated from Colorado St. in 2024 and currently plays professionally in Poland, was unable to lead Orlen Zastal Zielona Gora to victory in their recent game. Despite his solid performance, Zastal suffered a tough 79-63 loss on the road against the top-ranked Legia. Cartier showcased his skills by scoring 13 points and grabbing 6 rebounds in just 24 minutes of play, making him the second-highest scorer for his team. Despite Cartier's impressive contributions, Zastal ultimately fell short against Legia. Throughout this season, Cartier has maintained an average of 9.7 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 1.3 assists per game in the 42 games he has participated in so far. It is worth noting that Cartier is a naturalized American player, showcasing his talent and dedication on the international basketball stage.

#2. In a recent game, the experienced Puerto Rican Gian Clavell, a 6'4'' shooting guard and 32-year-old Rams alumnus from 2017, who was honored with the All-MWC Player of the Year award that year, showcased his skills while playing for Piratas de Quebradillas. Despite his best efforts, Clavell couldn't propel his team to victory in their matchup against the second-ranked Capitanes in Group A. The sixth-placed Quebradillas ultimately fell short with a close score of 88-92 in Arecibo. Clavell notably contributed 16 points in 27 minutes of play, establishing himself as the team's second-best scorer for the game. His impressive performance included scoring 16 points, securing 1 rebound, and providing 2 assists against the tough competition of Arecibo. Despite his strong individual showing, the team was unable to secure the win. Throughout this season, Clavell has maintained an average of 7.6 points, 1.9 rebounds, and 1.9 assists per game across the nine games he has participated in so far. Although the recent game didn't end in victory for Clavell and the Piratas de Quebradillas, his consistent contributions and skills on the court continue to be integral to the team's efforts as they strive for success in their league.

#3. New Zealand's James Moors, a 6'10'' forward/center who is 26 years old and graduated from Colorado St. in 2023, showcased his talent by leading the Taranaki Airs to a decisive 85-73 victory over the closely-ranked Tauranga (5-7) in the New Zealand National Basketball League last Friday. Moors, who currently plays professionally in New Zealand, was named the MVP of the game for his outstanding performance. In the game, Moors displayed his prowess by recording a double-double with 22 points and 12 rebounds, along with contributing 3 assists in just 31 minutes of play. This exceptional performance is even more impressive considering that Moors is only in his third season in professional basketball. The victory propelled the Taranaki Airs (5-8) to the seventh position in the league standings. Furthermore, Moors continued his stellar performance by scoring 22 points, grabbing 12 rebounds, and dishing out 3 assists against Whai, ultimately leading his team to victory. His remarkable display of skill earned him the prestigious Triple-Double Badge from eurobasket.com, further solidifying his status as a true champion. Individually, Moors has been having an exceptional year, boasting high statistics. He is averaging 16.4 points per game, 10.0 rebounds per game (ranking fourth best in the league), and 2.0 assists per game in the seven games he has played thus far. Moors' consistent excellence on the court exemplifies his champion mentality and prowess as a finalist.

#4. Joe Palmer, a 25-year-old guard standing at 6'4'' and an alum of the Rams from 2024, recently showcased his skills while playing professionally in Australia. Despite his notable efforts, Palmer was unable to lead the Dandenong Rangers to victory in their recent game against the Diamond Valley Eagles. The Dandenong Rangers, currently holding the eighth position with a 9-7 record, suffered a 88-100 loss to the lower-ranked Diamond Valley Eagles, ranked at #14 in the South group. In the game, Palmer demonstrated his prowess on the court by achieving a double-double with 18 points and 10 rebounds, along with 3 steals, during his 31 minutes of play. This performance highlighted his capabilities as a finalist player. Even though Palmer put up an impressive showing, contributing significantly to his team's efforts, they fell short of securing the win in the end. Throughout the season, Palmer has maintained a high level of performance, averaging 20.9 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 2.7 assists per game over the 14 games he has played so far. His consistent contributions on the court underscore his potential as a standout champion player in the league.
