Courtesy of Eurobasket LLC Every week we bring you a list of the top former Roadrunners players who continue their career in pro basketball.
#1. Justin Edler-Davis, a 6'4'' guard/forward who recently graduated from CSUB in 2022 and currently plays professionally in Israel, showcased his skills in Bnei Hertzeliya's recent game against Maccabi Tel-Aviv. Despite his impressive performance, where he emerged as the top scorer with 23 points, contributed 6 rebounds, 3 assists, and 4 steals in 31 minutes, Bnei Hertzeliya suffered a crushing defeat, losing 137-75 on the road to the leading team. This loss marked Bnei Hertzeliya's first after a streak of three consecutive victories, emphasizing the importance of each remaining game as they approach the end of the Regular Season. Edler-Davis, in his first season with the team, has been a standout player, averaging 20.7 points, 5.3 rebounds, 1.7 assists, and 1.7 steals per game over the three games he has played so far. Despite the team's recent setback, Edler-Davis continues to impress individually, solidifying his presence as a key player for Bnei Hertzeliya.
#2. Experienced champion Tyrone White, a 6'7'' guard at 35 years old and a Roadrunners alumnus from the 2013 season when he helped them secure the Independent Championship, currently plays professionally in Venezuela. In a recent game, White, now a finalist, unfortunately could not lead Guaiqueries (15-9) to victory. Despite his commendable performance, Guaiqueries suffered a 63-76 defeat in Caracas at the hands of the second-ranked Cocodrilos. White displayed his skills by scoring 11 points, grabbing 4 rebounds, and playing for 22 minutes. In the challenging match against Cocodrilos, White, the former champion, showcased his talent by contributing 11 points, 4 rebounds, and 1 assist. Nevertheless, despite his notable efforts, his team fell short and lost the game. Throughout the season, White has maintained solid statistics, averaging 11.9 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 1.3 assists per game in 32 appearances.
