Every week we bring you a list of the top former Broncos players who continue their career in pro basketball.

#1. Derrick Alston Jr., a 6'10'' forward who graduated from Boise State in 2021 and received the All-MWC First Team award that same year, is currently playing professionally in Italy. Recently, he showcased his talent by leading Virtus Segafredo Bologna to a resounding 90-69 victory over Openjobmetis Varese in the Italian Serie A. In this game, Alston Jr. was named the MVP after scoring 17 points, grabbing 5 rebounds, and making all five of his free throws within just 21 minutes of gameplay. This remarkable performance marked his debut game for Virtus Segafredo Bologna this season. Despite his team currently being ranked eighth in the league standings, it is still early in the season, and there is potential for significant changes. Alston Jr.'s exceptional display on the court against Varese highlighted his capabilities as a champion player, as he not only contributed significantly offensively but also showcased his defensive skills and playmaking ability by dishing out 2 assists. His impact was instrumental in securing the victory for his team, demonstrating his prowess as a standout finalist in the game.

#2. Justinian Jessup, a 28-year-old 6'6'' guard and Broncos alumnus from 2020, currently plays professionally in Germany. Recently, he showcased his talent by leading his German team, FC Bayern Muenchen Basketball, to a thrilling 86-84 victory over closely-ranked Hapoel Tel-Aviv in the Euroleague. Despite playing just 15 minutes, Jessup contributed significantly to the win by scoring 11 points. His team, FC Bayern Muenchen Basketball, currently holds the ninth position in the league standings with a record of 1-1. Jessup's performance against Hapoel Tel-Aviv exemplified his skill and determination, as his 11 points played a crucial role in securing the victory. Throughout this season, Jessup has maintained an average of 7.5 points per game, demonstrating his consistent contribution to the team. It is worth noting that Jessup is a naturalized American, further adding to his accomplishments as a standout player in the league.

#3. Spanish champion Alvaro Cardenas, a 6'2'' guard who is 24 years old and graduated from Boise State in 2025, currently plays professionally in Spain. Recently, he made his debut for Valencia Basket in the Spanish Liga Endesa but was unable to help his team secure a win against Lleida. Despite Cardenas' noteworthy performance of scoring 7 points and providing 5 assists in just 16 minutes of play, Valencia Basket, which is currently at the bottom of the rankings, suffered a 105-100 loss to Lleida, who are ranked much higher at #5. This marked Cardenas' first game for Valencia Basket this season, as he joined the team this year. His efforts on the court were commendable, but unfortunately, it was not enough to lead Valencia Basket to victory against the finalist Lleida.

#4. Experienced champion Derrick Marks, a 33-year-old, 6'3'' guard and Broncos alumnus from 2015, currently playing professionally in Romania, recently showcased his skills in a remarkable victory for his Romanian team, Dinamo. In a dominant performance against Peja in the FIBA Europe Cup, Marks led his team to a resounding 96-58 win on Wednesday night. Notably, Marks was honored as the MVP of the game for his outstanding contributions on the court. He impressively recorded 16 points, 4 rebounds, and 5 assists in just 25 minutes of play, marking a stellar debut for Dinamo this season. This highly anticipated matchup between Dinamo and Peja, two top 4 ranked teams, highlighted Marks' exceptional abilities as he guided his team to success. Currently positioned second in the league, Dinamo's future in the FIBA Europe Cup Qualifying Round hinges on their upcoming critical game. Marks' exceptional performance, including his remarkable point scoring, rebounding, and playmaking skills, epitomizes his status as a true champion in the sport. His leadership and talent on the court undoubtedly played a pivotal role in securing the victory for Dinamo, further solidifying his reputation as a standout finalist.

#5. German Christian Sengfelder, a 6'8'' power forward who graduated from Boise State in 2018 and received the CoSIDA NCAA Division I Academic All-District 7 First Team award that year, is currently playing professionally in Spain. In his first game for Longevida San Pablo Burgos this season, Sengfelder showcased his skills by contributing 13 points, 5 rebounds, and 1 assist in 25 minutes of play. Despite his commendable performance, Burgos SP, the team he plays for, was narrowly defeated 98-97 by the second-ranked Baskonia in an away game last Sunday. This marked Sengfelder's debut with Longevida San Pablo Burgos, and although he displayed an impressive showing on the court, his team fell short in securing the victory.

#6. Canadian Dominic Parolin, a 23-year-old forward standing at 6'9'' and an alummi of the Broncos class of 2026, made a significant impact in his debut game for Eisbaeren Bremerhaven in Germany. Despite his remarkable performance, including being the top scorer with 17 points and contributing 4 rebounds in 26 minutes of play, his team suffered a narrow 93-92 defeat on the road against the higher-ranked OrangeAcademy (#9) last Sunday. This game marked Parolin's first appearance for Eisbaeren Bremerhaven this season. Despite his efforts, his team fell short against OrangeAcademy in a closely contested match.

#7. Canadian champion Abu Kigab, a 6'7'' forward aged 27, who graduated from Boise St. in 2022 and received the All-MWC All-Tournament MVP award that year, currently plays professionally in Mexico. Recently, he showcased his skills by leading Santos de San Luis Potosi to a narrow 87-86 victory over the closely-ranked Abejas in the Mexican Liga Nacional de Baloncesto Profesional (second division) on Friday night. During the game, Kigab displayed his talent by contributing 12 points and making 3 steals in 26 minutes of play. His performance was crucial as he not only scored 12 points but also secured 3 rebounds and provided 1 assist against Abejas, playing a pivotal role in his team's triumph as the champion. Throughout the season, Kigab has maintained solid statistics, averaging 11.0 points per game, 3.0 rebounds per game, and 1.5 steals per game.

#8. Dylan Andrews, a 23-year-old guard standing at 6'3" and an alumnus of the Broncos from 2026, currently plays professionally in Lithuania. Despite his impressive performance, Andrews, who received an All-MWC Honorable Mention award in 2026, was unable to assist Nevezis (0-2) in their recent game last Sunday. Nevezis, the bottom-ranked team, suffered a significant 94-77 defeat in Utena at the hands of the higher-ranked Juventus (#8). During the game, Andrews emerged as the second-highest scorer, contributing 15 points in 26 minutes of play. Despite his notable efforts, Nevezis was unable to secure a victory against the formidable Juventus team. Andrews showcased his skills by scoring 15 points, grabbing 2 rebounds, and dishing out 2 assists in the match. Throughout the season, Andrews has maintained relatively solid statistics, averaging 10.5 points per game and 2.0 rebounds per game. His consistent performance on the court demonstrates his value as a talented player, aiming to lead his team to success despite facing challenges along the way.

#9. James Webb III, a 33-year-old power forward standing at 6'9" and a graduate of Boise State in 2016, currently plays professionally in Turkey. Recently, he competed for Esenler Erokspor Istanbul against Glint Korfez but unfortunately could not lead his team to victory. This game may not be considered one of his standout performances as he scored just 2 points and secured 5 rebounds during his 23 minutes on the court. Notably, this match marked his first appearance for Esenler Erokspor Istanbul this season, and despite his respectable contribution of 2 points, 5 rebounds, and 2 assists, his team suffered a defeat with a final score of 88-79 against Glint Korfez.

#10. Serbian Mladen Armus, a 6'9'' forward and Broncos alumnus from 2022, played a crucial role in helping his team secure the MWC Regular Season Champion title that year. Currently playing professionally in Spain, Armus recently made his debut for Cordoba CB in the Spanish Primera FEB, the second division league. In his first game of the season, Armus made an impactful contribution to his team's dominant 72-57 victory over Zamora, an underdog in the league. He recorded 6 points and 6 rebounds in just 20 minutes of play, showcasing his talent and prowess on the court. His performance against Zamora exemplified his capabilities as a champion player, playing a key role in leading his team to success in the game.
