Here is the weekly review of the top performing Mountaineers alumni, who are currently playing in pro basketball.

#1. Adrian Delph, a 6'3'' guard who recently graduated from App State in 2022 and received the All-Sun Belt First Team award that year, is currently playing professionally in the United Kingdom. In a recent British Super League Basketball matchup, he played a crucial role in B.Braun Sheffield Sharks' victory over the closely-ranked Gladiators, with a dominating score of 98-76 last Sunday. Delph showcased his skills by scoring 21 points, securing 4 rebounds, and providing 4 assists during his 36 minutes on the court in his first game for B.Braun Sheffield Sharks this season. The game was a highly anticipated matchup between two top 4 ranked teams, with Delph's team currently holding the third position in the league standings. Despite the early stage of the season, Delph's exceptional performance against the Gladiators and his consistent contributions to the team have already made a significant impact. This season marks Delph's debut year with B.Braun Sheffield Sharks, and his talent was on full display as he led the team to victory with his impressive statistics against Caledonia G. Delph's remarkable display of scoring, rebounding, and playmaking skills undoubtedly played a pivotal role in securing the win for his team in this important game.

#2. Dibaji Walker, a 6'9'' power forward and 27-year-old alumnus of Mountaineers from the class of 2023, currently plays professionally in Denmark. In a recent Danish BasketLigaen game, Walker led Randers to a hard-fought 89-85 victory over the closely-ranked Vaerlose (1-2) last Sunday. His outstanding performance earned him the title of MVP of the game, as he showcased his skills as a champion player by scoring an impressive 27 points, securing 6 rebounds, and making 2 crucial blocks in 38 minutes of play. Randers Cimbria Basketball, with a current record of 2-1, holds the fifth position in the league standings. Walker's exceptional display against Vaerlose not only helped his team secure the win but also highlighted his individual prowess on the court. His consistent high-level performance throughout the season has been remarkable, as he maintains an average of 19.7 points per game, 6.0 rebounds per game, 1.3 assists per game, and an impressive 3.3 blocks per game (leading the league in this category) over the three games he has played so far. Walker's stellar contributions make him a standout finalist in the league.

#3. Xavion Brown, a 6'3'' guard who is 24 years old and a graduate of DBU in 2026, previously played for App State from 2020 to 2024, where he helped them achieve the Sun Belt Regular Season Champion title in 2024. Currently, he is playing professionally in the Czech Republic. In a recent game, Brown played for H.Kralove but they were unable to defeat Pardubice, losing 78-88. Despite his remarkable performance, where he scored 7 points, grabbed 4 rebounds, and delivered 10 assists in 34 minutes, H.Kralove was unable to secure the win against the formidable Pardubice team. Brown's statistics for this season are impressive, with averages of 8.0 points per game, 4.3 rebounds per game, 8.0 assists per game (leading the league in this category), and 2.0 steals per game through three games. His skills and contributions on the court are noteworthy, demonstrating his value as a player in the league.

#4. Kasen Jennings, a 6'3'' guard and 24-year-old alum of Mountaineers from 2026, played a crucial role in helping them secure the Sun Belt Regular Season Co-Champion title that year. Currently playing professionally in the United Kingdom, Jennings recently took to the court for Bristol Flyers in a match against Newcastle Eagles in the British Super League Basketball competition. Despite his notable performance where he scored 9 points, grabbed 4 rebounds, dished out 3 assists, and made 3 steals in just 23 minutes of play, Bristol Flyers fell short against the Newcastle Eagles, losing 94-68 on the road. This defeat came as a blow to Jennings and his team, especially since it was only his first season with the Bristol Flyers. Jennings showcased his skills against the formidable Newcastle Eagles by contributing significantly to the game with his scoring, rebounding, and playmaking abilities. Despite his individual efforts, Bristol Flyers could not secure a victory, ultimately succumbing to the higher-ranked (#5) Newcastle Eagles. Throughout this season, Jennings has been maintaining an average of 8.3 points, 3.7 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and 1.3 steals per game over the course of three games.

#5. Experienced champion Isaac Butts, a 37-year-old center standing at 6'10'' who graduated from App State in 2012 and currently plays professionally in Japan, showcased his skills by leading Tokushima Gambarous to a narrow 1-point victory over the fourth-ranked Excellence with a final score of 93-92 in the Japanese B.One League last Wednesday. In an intense 25-minute game, Butts achieved a double-double, contributing 16 points and securing an impressive 13 rebounds. Following this remarkable performance, Tokushima Gambarous, with a record of 1-1, now holds the third position in the West group standings. Butts continued to shine in the subsequent game against Yokohama EX, replicating his scoring of 16 points and 13 rebounds, ultimately propelling his team to victory. This outstanding display of skill and leadership earned him the distinguished Triple-Double Badge from eurobasket.com. With an average of 13.5 points per game and 13.5 rebounds per game in the two games played this season, Butts has maintained solid stats, solidifying his role as a key player on the team. His consistent performance and valuable contributions have undoubtedly played a significant role in Tokushima Gambarous' success in the league.
