Chris Wright

Capitanes de Arecibo announced the signing of point guard Chris Wright (185-PG-89, college: Georgetown) and forward Justin Keenan (202-F/C-88, college: Ferris St.) as their new imports. They replace Joey and Stephen Graham.

Arecibo needed a point guard since Guillermo Diaz and Rafael Cruz are currently injured. With the signing of Keenan they added depth inside.

Wright played this season with Iowa Energy in the D-League and averaged 15,7 points and 7 assists. He also played briefly for the Dallas Mavericks as well. The 23 year-old guard graduated from Georgetown.

Keenan just played in BSN with Caciques-Gigantes and averaged 9,7 points with 9 rebounds in three games.

Both players are expected to make their debut on Thursday against Brujos de Guayama. Arecibo is in ninth place with a 2-4 record.
