Guaynabo changes their imports, Cousins comes back

Mets de Guaynabo announced import changes after a five-game losing streak, hoping to start winning again.

The team released Will Douglas and Derrick Williams, replacing them with guard Bryn Forbes and center Dewan Hernandez. Both new imports made their debut in the 96-93 win over Manati on Wednesday.

Their next addition will be former NBA center DeMarcus Cousins (211-C/F-1990, college: Kentucky), who comes back after playing in Guaynabo during the 2023 season. His arrival is expected to be on May 1 and his debut should be on May 5 against Arecibo.
