Indios de Mayagüez announced Milton Doyle (193-SG-1993, college: Loyola, IL), Samuel Waardenburg (208-F-1999, college: Miami, FL) and Tyrell Harrison (214-C-1999) as their trio of imports for the 2025 BSN season.
They are expected to join the team when they finish their commitments in Australia. Doyle comes back for his second season in BSN. In 2024 he made an impact with Mayagüez averaging 15.3 points in 20 games, being a consistent performer on both sides of the ball, especially in clutch moments. He currently plays for Tasmania in Australia’s NBL. Waardenburg and Harrison are newcomers for the team and are expected to be their main players in the paint. Mayagüez has been active this offseason by naming Ivan Velez as their new head coach. They added veteran depth to their roster by signing Jonathan Garcia and Kleon Penn in free agency. Recently the team traded Jordan Cintron to Bayamon for Luis Cuascut and Josue Erazo. Some of their key players for next season are Georgie Pacheco, Jorge Matos, Jeff Early, Luis Lopez and Matthew Lee. |
