Here is the weekly review of the top performing Mexican players, who play currently abroad.
#1. This week's number one is an international shooting guard
Francisco Cruz (191-89, college:
Wyoming, currently plays in Basketball Champions League). He led his Turkish team
Tofas to a victory against the closely-ranked SIG Strasbourg (2-2)
85-75 in the Basketball Champions League in Wednesday night's game.
Cruz scored 12 points and added 3 passes in 26 minutes on the court.
It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Tofas Bursa (3-1) is placed first in the Basketball Champions League.
There are only two games left until the end of the Basketball Champions League Regular Season. So now every game will be critical.
It's Cruz's first season with the team.
He has individually a very good year with high stats. Cruz averages: 16.5ppg, 2.8rpg, 4.8apg, 3FGP: 45.5%(10-22) and FT: 73.7% in four games he played so far.
Ex-Fuerza Guinda Nogales player is currently a member of the Mexican senior national team.
#2. Second place goes to an international point guard
Alexander Perez-Kaufmann (191-93, currently plays in Turkey). He could not help
Turk Telekom (1-2) in their last game on Sunday. Despite Perez-Kaufmann's good performance Turk Telekom was defeated
79-66 on the road by the higher-ranked Efes (#3).
He recorded 10 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists.
There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial.
Perez-Kaufmann's overall stats this season are: 9.6ppg, 4.6rpg, 4.6apg, 2FGP: 40.6%, 3FGP: 38.5% and FT: 58.3%.
Ex-Soles de Mexicali player is in the roster of the Mexican senior national team.
#3. The Mexican player who performed third best last week abroad was an experienced former international swingman
Jaime Jaquez Jr. (198-1, currently plays in NCAA2). He contributed to an easy victory against the California State University Chico crushing them
100-61 in the Pac12 on Thursday night.
Jaquez Jr. scored 23 points and added 5 assists in 21 minutes.
The University of California at Los Angeles have a very good - record this season.
This year Jaquez Jr.'s overall stats are: 9.6ppg, 4.6rpg, 4.6apg, 2FGP: 40.6%, 3FGP: 38.5% and FT: 58.3% in five games.
He played for the Mexican national team two years ago.
#4. Forward
Juan Toscano-Anderson (198-93, agency:
BeoBasket, college:
Marquette, currently plays in NBA) contributed to a
Golden State Warriors' victory against the Atlanta Hawks (4-8)
127-113 in the NBA in Monday night's game.
Toscano-Anderson scored 11 points.
The Golden State Warriors have quite an impressive 10-1 record this season.
It was his team's sixth consecutive victory in a row.
But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen.

He is a naturalized American.
Toscano-Anderson is also Mexican national team player.
He used to play for Fuerza Regia Monterrey in Mexican league.
#5. International small forward
Gael Bonilla (204-3, currently plays in Spain) helped
Barca 2 win their game against the sixth-ranked Mataro (3-3)
74-65 in the Spanish EBA (fourth division) last Sunday.
Bonilla scored 7 points in 26 minutes.

De Coninck scored only 3 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. It was his first game for McGill University this season.
His team has 1-0 record this season.
But the season is still in its first stage and everything can happen.
De Coninck is a former U17 international player as he played for the Mexican team four years ago.
