Diego Willis transfers to SF Austin

Stephen F. Austin State University strengthened their roster with addition of 22-year old Mexican international 6-4 guard Diego Willis for upcoming season. Willisrmosillo native played for the last three years at New Jersey Institute of Technology. In 19 games he recorded 5.9ppg and 3.3rpg last season.
He played also at Rayos de Hermosillo in 2015 and then at La Matanza in 2015-18. He helped his team make it to the Kaunas Adidas Next Generation Tournament (Qualifications to ANGT Finals) in 2017.
He has been also a member of Mexican international program for some years. Willis has regularly played for Mexican senior team since 2017 and two years ago for U22 National Team.
He represented Mexico at the Panamerican Games in Lima (Peru) two years ago. His stats at that event were 4 games: 5.8ppg, 2.8rpg, FGP: 50.0%, 3PT: 17.6%.
