Ramon Galloway
American Ramon Galloway (190-SG-91) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for league's leader CPN and that's him to receive a Interperformances Santiago League Player of the Week award for round 3 (Second Stage).
The 28-year old shooting guard had the game-high 35 points adding three rebounds and seven assists for CPN in his team's victory, helping them to beat GUG (2-1) 99-85. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. It allowed CPN to jump to the first place in the Dominican Rep. Santiago League. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost that single game earlier this stage. CPN has a very solid 2-1 record, but they cannot be too comfortable about keeping top position. In the team's last game Galloway had a remarkable 54.5% from 2-point range and got four three-pointers out of 9 attempts. He just recently signed at CPN, being already a very valuable addition to the team. La Salle University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Galloway is league's best scorer averaging so far 29.3ppg and is league's best passer with 5.7apg. Galloway is in league's top in and averages solid 56.4% FGP and 47.7% from behind 3-point line.
The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was 39-year old Spanish forward Edward Santana (203-F-80) of Plaza. Santana impressed basketball fans with 28 points and 8 rebounds. It was enough for Plaza to edge CDP (1-2) by 3 points 89-86. The Second Stage is still at the very beginning and this victory may help a lot. Let's wait for the next round. Santana is one of the most experienced players at Plaza and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.
The third best performed player last round was American Angel Nunez (203-F-91) of CDP (#3). Nunez scored 24 points and grabbed seven rebounds. Despite Nunez's great performance CDP lost 86-89 to #4 ranked Plaza. But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates especially in such crucial game. The chances of CDP not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 2 games, recording just one victory. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Nunez could try to bring CDP's a little bit higher in the standings. Nunez has individually a great season in Dominican Republic. After 13 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 17.8ppg (8th best) and rebounds with 7.5rpg (9th best). He also has 2.1bpg, FGP: 51.4% and 3PT: 40.3%. Angel Nunez has also Dominican Rep. passport and can play in the league with a status of domestic player.

The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
