Promitheas add Echenique to their roster

ASP Promitheas Patras (GBL) added to their roster 26-year old Colombian international center Jaime Echenique (211cm-117kg-1997, college: Wichita State) for season 2023-24. Echenique played last season at Portland Trail Blazers in the NBA Summer League. He has been regularly called to Colombian Senior National Team since 2020.
Echenique is quite experienced player. He has played also professionally in Lithuania (Rytas), Spain (Gipuzkoa), NBA (Washington Wizards), NBA G League (Capital City Go-Go and Motor City Cruise) and NBA Summer League (Washington Wizards). Echenique played in the final of Lithuanian League in 2023.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he was voted to Latinbasket.com All-FIBA AmeriCup Honorable Mention in 2022.
He graduated from Wichita State in 2020 and it will be his fourth season as a professional player. Echenique played also for Trinity Valley Community College for 2 years.
