COLOMBIA PLAYING GREAT IN THE SOUTHAMERICAN U-17 IN PASTO

Colombia National U-17 team is already having a great performance in the Southamerican U-17 Tournament, the National Team has won its three games, with the young guard, Camila Tapias (daughter of coach Jose Tapias and the many times member of the National Team Jenny Pinilla), leading the team, already averaging 10,3 PPG, Carolina Caracas Mina is another key player averaging 8 PPG and Elizabeth Gutierrez with 7,5 PPG and 6 RPG.
The team defeated Peru in the opener 76 30, the coach use all his roster in the game and all the players score, Colombia outrebounded Peru taking 48 rebounds, while Peru just took 24.
In the second day the National team again got an easy victory defeating Ecuador, 62 24, again ruling the boards.
But the greatest moment arrived on Tuesday, defeating the power house Brazil in the overtime, Colombia took control of the game in the first half winning the first two quarters , in a erratic game of both teams, Brazil came back and won the second half sending the game to the overtime, when the heart of the National Team was giant and took a great victory 49-44
The National team had today (Tuesday 28) a free day.
