The Regular Season in LigaA just started. The round was rather attractive and full of interesting results. The round ended with change at the leadership position, favorites losing the games and games ending by tiny margin. The biggest surprise of round 1 in LigaA took place in Salta where host Salta Basket (1-0) beat Atenas (0-1) 76-66 on Wednesday evening. The game was mostly controlled by Salta Basket. Atenas managed to win fourth quarter 18-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and...

Champville (Pepsi LBL) signed 28-year old American point guard Patrick Rembert (185-85kg-89, college: Cal-Irvine). It is actually his comeback to Dik El Mehdi as he has played here before. Rembert played last summer at Titanes Licey in LNB league in Dominican Republic, but left the team in June. In 6 LNB games he had very impressive stats: 16.8ppg, 1.8rpg and 2.7apg. The last season Rembert played at Champville where in 23 Pepsi LBL games he recorded also remarkable stats: 23.3ppg, 2.4rpg...

Basket Globalcaja Quintanar (EBA) agreed terms with 26-year old Dominican forward Gregorio Adon (198-91). He played last summer at Titanes Licey in LNB league in Dominican Republic, but left. In two games he had just 2.5ppg and 1.5rpg. The last season Adon played at Marin Ence PeixeGalego (LEB Gold) where in 30 games he recorded 3.9ppg and 2.7rpg.
